Have reviewed medical records for attorney's. Have reviewed, tabulated and screened medical records for merit for attorney's to assist them in determining if they should or should not accept cases based on merit.  Have located experts for attorneys upon request with specilization services in the field that we were working in. Location of Experts to have included their backgrounds, their publications, current licensure, current works, as well as having the experts under contract.  I Have provided intense reports with regard to specified medical cases, including charts, timelines and chronologies, medical record timelines, drug delivery reports including indepth rationale of each medication.  Identification of standards of care and practices of all disciplines involved in the care of patients.  Full case analysis involved with literature provided to clients. 
2003-2008 UNITED STATES ARMY

        Chief, Officer In Charge, Case Management Department Division

Recognized by the Office of the Surgeon General as the leader in this program nationwide.  Responsible for the overall supervision and oversight of Warrior Transition Unit (WTU) Case Management activities and personnel.  Triage incoming Soldiers from a theatre of war to plan appropriate medical care and route that care.  Facilitate the medical work up and processing of patients to expedite them to their maximum level of wellness attainable within our constraints.  Ensure that departmental practices comply with Command, military policies and JCAHO guidelines.  Provide critical data to Army leadership.  Monitor and report data to the Office of the Surgeon General and Great Plains Regional Medical Command weekly and as requested.  Uses a collaborative team approach to oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of services to meet complex health needs of this population which promote appropriate, timely, clinically effective, and cost-efficient patient care.  Uses facilitation, negotiation, procurement, advocacy, communication, and empowerment to ensure quality care, appropriate costing, and multidisciplinary involvement for the achievement of mutually developed treatment goals.  Addresses patterns or problems at patient, provider, and/or systems levels to promote smooth transition of patients through the health care experience.  Seeks resolution for identified problems through individual and collaborative efforts to assure appropriate utilization and optimization of resources.  Essential activities are provided throughout the continuum of care, and span multiple environmental settings with diverse systems, providers, and levels of care.  Represents WTU Case Management while intervening or interacting with all relevant components of the Soldier’s health care system.  Identifies and manages 100% of Reserve and National Guard medical Holdover population.  Responsible for data entry of all identified to the corporate medical holdover tracking system on MODS.  Facilitates the medical evaluation, treatment and disability processing of medically unqualified soldiers 1.  who were unable to deploy due to medical condition(s) or 2. who are injured/ill after mobilization/deployment or whose condition has been aggravated during mobilization/deployment.  Responsible for advising health care providers on policies and procedures to facilitate decisions regarding follow on medical care for Reserve and National Guard component.  Ensures that medical returnees from theatre of operations are promptly treated and scheduled for appointments.  Complying with regulations as set forth by the Office of the Surgeon General.  Serves as Consultant for the Military Medical Treatment Facility on Soldier and program status.  Responsible for coordinating post deployment health assessment screening, expeditious physical examinations, consultations and follow up medical care for Reserve/National Guard soldiers and Active Duty Soldiers identified as Medical Holdovers during the SRP or demobilization process.  Develop plan for Case Management of Soldiers..  Implement and manage Medical Holdover Case Management Plan.  Coordinate program initiatives with Military Medical Treatment Facilities, Regional Medical Commands, FORSCOM, USARC.  Identify obstacles for completion of mission.  Mentoring new Case Managers and staff.  Provide timely recommendations for resolving obstacles.  Respond to requests for information on the program by the hospital Commander and Office of the Surgeon General.

                 Charge Nurse  Working in a hospital as a charge nurse.  Making rounds with the physicians and assisting in treatments.  Patients cared for ranged from neurological, orthopedic, med/surge, plastics.  
2001-2002  Medical Staffing Network  
                 Registry Staff Nurse   Working as a Registered Nurse in varied hospitals and facilities.  I provide hands on nursing patients who are post surgical and or have acute or chronic conditions.  Areas of assignment have ranged from hospitals, outpatient clinics, prison medical facilities, VA hospitals and community hospitals.

1997-1998  Valley View Skilled Nursing Facility 
                 RN House Supervisor  Supervise staff of a nursing facility.  The facility had approximately 140 beds.   Generally the staff that I supervised comprised 5 nurses and 10-14 CNA’s and     ancillary staff.  I made rounds with the physicians, followed through on medical orders. Managed patient/family issues, attended professional meetings within the facility.

 1991-1994  Asbury Salina Regional Medical Center 
                  Staff Nurse/Night Charge Nurse  In this position, my responsibilities were as a nurse on a neuro/med surg floor.  We were a 26 bed unit.  Typical patients were craniotomies, laminectomies, hysterectomies, TURP’S, orchiectomies, prostatectomies, hernia repairs, mastectomies, nephrectomies, halo patients, diabetic care, COPD care and other misc., patients.  I was also a member of the Code Blue Team.
